he led her to the waterfall, eyes closed and hands held tightly. until then it was only a place she had seen in worn photographs. as she clutched his palm, she could feel the mountain mist grace the end of her nose, the tumble of the water below shaking the ground, the splash upon the cold rocks echoing through the canyon. her crown of eucalyptus & furls of her white dress swayed with the breeze. he gently whispered into her ears: "my bride, let your eyes see, and your heart enjoy"
