Filmmaker Statement
As a kid, I always chose a video submission over the term paper in school. I felt I could make something more enjoyable to share while having fun in the process.
I come from a family of storytellers. For me, it began with summers in Greece, trying to capture moments to bring back to my father who seriously never gave himself a break. I saw the value and joy it brought him to see what I had captured on our little handy cam. At first I was all about capturing memories and then I started to really enjoy editing the pieces together. I realized I needed to collect scenes to tell a story. I always lost track of time. I enjoy every aspect, and all the people I get to meet.

Inspired By
adversity
"grief doesn't change you, it reveals who you are" In times of suffering, we love deeply, find who we are. I'm inspired by the ways we cope.
passionate folks
people who love what they do. hearing how they found their passion and live it. those who chase their dreams.
young hearts
I love old people who don't realize they are old yet. Like my yaya who at 86 climbs a mountain every day to tend the farm.
