Filmmaker Statement
I studied to be a writer. Then I became a content manager at a travel startup. Though the work was flexible and fun, I was still sitting at a desk in downtown NYC for 50-hours a week. I knew I wasn't made for a 9-to-5 job or a "career". Photography was a hobby of mine and I decided that if I wanted to pursue my love of freedom, I would need to make a living somehow. I started dabbling in short documentaries, convinced a friend of mine to do the same, and within a few months we were shooting short films in India, Nepal, Thailand, and everywhere in SE Asia. We soon mixed our travel series with client work to make money. Now, two companies and 30 countries later, life is good.

Inspired By
Intense Landscape
I'm drawn to dramatic landscapes that mold the people who live in them - landscapes change people, and I try to explore the reasons.
Ideals
I want to explore why people act the way they do. What ideals and values are they holding that determines their actions?
Freedom
Personally, I hold no higher standard than the belief in a freedom to do what I love. In all aspects of my life, I want to pursue freedom.
